Ill say yes because of what thats the intention of the scene but truly its so poorly done i dont think it counts.
So, at the beginning there's a dog on Harkers lawn and the old bag neighbor comes over to yell about the dog pooping on her lawn. She very clearly stomps her foot *near* the dog (it is supposed to imply she kicks it but we can tell she doesn't) and we hear a dog yelp sound effects. It's very clear that nothing happens but it is implied that she kicks the dog. Nothing happens otherwise to any animals and the dog doesn't show back up in the movie. It still makes you hate the old lady, but the dog is very clearly chilling on the lawn and has no idea he's in a "horror" movie lol
