not necessarily but there is a sort of chase scene where a character repeatedly tries to capture a very aggressive cat and at one point throws it in a pool, which it jumps out of, then he pins it down with his forearm. its intended to be comedic and the cat is 3d animated but could be upsetting

Depends on your perspective, I suppose. It is an uplifting story for sure. Not sad, in my opinion. May be a trigger for very sensitive viewers. Everyone is happy at the end.
