During a pharmaceutical study, multiple characters are gaslit when they question the safety of the study.

Owen briefly gaslights Annie about their shared dream in S1E6 but it’s short lived and she calls him out pretty quick and he admits she’s right.

Episode 4: A woman on the verge of death writes a letter to her estranged (now adult) daughter ranting about what a mistake it was to have her as a child. Episode 6: A character recalls when he was eight years old and his mother would talk extensively about her suicidality with him even though he was obviously unable to help her.

The show depicts a (very unethical) clinical trial for a set of three pills. Episode 2: Annie snorts a pill. Characters take pills as part of the experiment. Episode 3: A character dies, presumably due to using the experimental drug recreationally. Episode 6: A character engages in freebasing.

[SPOILER] Episode 10: During a scene where the Milgrams are preparing for Jed's trial, it is revealed that Jed has been accused of sexual assault. At the trial, grainy surveillance footage shows Jed groping a coworker and then forcing her to urinate on him. Also, in episode 9 a character fears an ally will stick a tool into an orifice to retrieve a chip planted in his body by enemies. The chip is actually in his knee, and that's not how the tool works anyways.

Unclear. There is reference to a character being burned in a car accident. And you do see the car with flames but from afar, not in detail.

(SPOILERS) Some characters are subjected to prolonged exposure to dangerously high temperatures via microwave radiation while unconscious. They do feel this in their dreams. But they survive.

Episode 2: A character dies when the car she's in is hit by a semi truck and tumbles down a cliffside. Episode 3: A character attempts suicide by jumping off a building but does not die or sustain any visible injuries. Episode 8: There's a surreal scene where the character who attempted suicide climbs out a window and is shown falling in slow motion before hitting the ground, where everything is actually a tiny replica of a city.

A few occurrences that are similar:

- In a dream sequence, two characters are captured, tied to chairs and threatened.

-Characters are mislead into participating in a very dangerous, unethical pharmaceutical study. They are not allowed to leave or opt out.

-An AI holds people’s consciousness hostage.

One of the main characters repeatedly hallucinates seeing a different version of his brother. The brother does not look scary or ghostlike in these hallucinations. However, during S1E5, the brother appears suddenly in a dream about a séance and coughs up ectoplasm. He briefly talks about being murdered by his twin in the womb. In the same episode, in the same dream, another character (who died earlier in the season) appears as a docile zombie or Frankenstein’s Monster sort of deal. Both these instances are meant to be humorous and are not particularly scary but I thought it should be mentioned.

No harsh white strobe effects. Flashing colorful lights at many points starting at episode 4. In the middle of episode 9, fluorescent lights flicker but have several seconds of darkness between the short bursts. Around minute 38-39 of episode 9 and the very beginning of episode 10, there are some short but particularly rapid colorful lights flashing.

Episode 2: A character involved in a car accident is shown with blood on her body. A large scar can be seen on her back in other episodes. Episode 7: There's a very graphic scene where a man drills into someone else's skull and blood sprays everywhere. A character shoots an "inner demon" that looks like her, and there is some blood on the face. Episode 8: A character is shown covered in blood from the drill scene in the previous episode. There are several characters shot to death. One character's torso is shot into two separate pieces, blood sprays all over a bystander, and the dead guy's guts are shown spilling out. Episode 9: Characters have nosebleeds.
