There is human experimentation, some of the subjects die in a gruesome way.
Some of them are tortured with high frequency sounds which hurts the symbiotes and (presumably) the hosts too.

It's especially awful with the first human trial with the symbiote. He literally screams and sounds like he is in extreme pain until he dies. It sounds like his bones are breaking clearly. There was also heavy manipulation from the CEO directing the experiment (comparing the homeless person to a child sacrifice in the bible).

Knocking-like noises in the very first scene that made me double take when wearing headphones.
Chewing noises after venom attaches to Eddie in his apartment and in the restaurant. Eddie eats rancid chicken. Crunching/chewing noises at the Malaysian market when the woman/symbiote eats an eel.

I don’t think it was intentional plural/DID/OSDD/UDD coding or representation but there is an aspect of plurality-coding to symbiotes. Specifically they control you to do things you otherwise wouldn’t and they are an entirely seperate consciousness that inhabits your body/mind with a voice, thoughts and feeling of their own. This version of plural rep does fall somewhat into the “evil personality” trope slightly, Venom being a giant alien capable of hurting and killing other if necessary, but it is, in this case, out of necessity and not out of “ooh look scary evil personality kills people and is evil”. A counterpoint to them being misrepresentation is that Venom and Eddie get along pretty well, even if they fight sometimes, they both acknowledge each others existence and help eachother reach the same goal of doing the right thing. I know i personally and a lot of other plurals/people with DID/OSDD/UDD hold Venom/Eddie very close to their hearts as systems but with any plural-coding there are some flaws. I personally relate to the fact venom is a genderless and nonhuman part that helps bring a sense of normalcy and companionship to a human host’s life, as well as relating to the “voices in your head” thing, which isn’t always caused by plurality but can be and having a public breakdown which is later explained by plurality. Overall pretty decent rep, even though it is not trying to be.

The symbiosis and the way it's portrayed can be very similar to dissociation and derealization. It's not an actual depiction, but it's similar enough that it could trigger it!

You could argue that Venom is constantly in Eddie’s head. At the start of the movie, he wouldn’t know this. When Venom first talks, he says “don’t open the door” right before Eddie’s door is knocked on. He looks outside and nobody is there, but it was a trap to get him to let his guard down. Carlton’s men storm the apartment.

“Crazy”, “insane”, “nuts” are all used. Stigma of god complexes (god complex=villian), Eddies partner calls him egotistical and self absorbed. Eddie hears voices and is treated like he is “insane” for a little while. When Eddie becomes sick due to the symbiote someone threatens to call the cops on him but a doctor says he will take him to the hospital instead, he is sedated and we do not see how.

Mrs. Chen is slightly stereotypical. Not much of Malaysia is shown aside from wilderness and a lower-income area with street vendors.

Technically venom is genderless but doesn’t protest or mention anything about being called gendered pronouns.

Venom is a pitch black being that a racially white man turns into but there’s no actual blackface.

There isn't a lot of blood. There is definitely some gore. In the beginning after the ambulance crash you see a bone sticking out of a lady's leg briefly

Numerous shots are fired, though in true comic book fashion, bullets are completely ineffective against the symbiotic monster-hero.
