ReportIn 1926, Newt Scamander arrives at the Magical Congress of the United States of America with a magically expanded briefcase, which houses a number of dangerous creatures and their habitats. When the creatures escape from the briefcase, it sends the American wizarding authorities after Newt, and threatens to strain even further the state of magical and non-magical relations.

I spent the entire movie looking for the spiders that others clicked the "yes" button for, but never saw them. There are indeed crawlies that are similar to real world animals or combinations of real world animals, but none that bothered my severe fear of spiders like a few of the Harry Potter movies did.

A character called Credence is an obscurial (an obscurus lives inside of him). The obscurus is a separate part from the person and is dangerous. However, Newt explains that an obscurus develops because a person suppresses their magical powers. So Credence is not directly possessed. The way the obscurus is shown is still pretty similar to someone being possessed (not being able to control themselves, etc.).

Sort of. Credence, as a result of PTSD from years of abuse from his adoptive mother, has developed an Obscurus, which is what happens when a young witch or wizard tries to suppress their magic for too long instead of controlling it. It’s mentioned that those with an obscurus don’t usually live past the age of 10, but Credence is roughly 18 to mid-20s. The fact he has it in the following two movies and, in movie 3, appears to be dying indicates it’s incurable.
