No horses die, but there is a scene where a horse is in serious danger and could have died. The horse does survive.

The title character's main arc deals with coming to terms with the fact that the organisation that raised her is in fact evil, and lied to her all her life about their benevolent intentions. Much time is devoted to her overcoming the effects of this indoctrination.

A teenager is raised as a child soldier and physically abused on-screen and of screen by her superiors/caretakers via electrocution, asphyxiation, and an (offscreen) blow to the face. The character shields their face and flinches in the presence of their caretakers.

Shadow Weaver is never shown drinking, but there are scenes of her coming home, slurring her words, to abuse small children.
She is heavily implied to be drunk at least twice.

It's not really assault, but a male character (Sea Hawk) becomes a bit affectionate/handsy with a princess who is shown to be annoyed or uncomfortable with his advances. It's framed in a lighthearted way and nothing serious happens but there is some disrespect of her boundaries.

It's not graphic, but a character gets captured, is restrained by some magic stuff and is shown to be in pain because of it.

Horde Prime is able to control his clones and the people in his empire and inhabit their bodies. It's similar to possession but it's not exactly the same. This only happens in season 5

in S4 E10, bow v* off-screen with clearly fake sound effects, but this could be upsetting nonetheless. Around 20:40 minutes in, right after he says "Wow, that was a lot easier than I thought it'd be," if you want to mute.

Adora has anxiety attack nightmares/night terrors whenever she sleeps. I do wonder if it’s an imitation of ptsd because she can’t calm down/relax and is always on hyper alert.

I don't know if this counts, but I thought it might be worth mentioning. An autistic coded character is manipulate into believing her friends don't care about her. A lot of characters treat her differently and with little patience because of her difficulties in social interactions. This impacts her deeply as in season 4 she gives a speech about not belonging and heavily implies that she would rather die than return to said friends.

There are bright light effects but they don't flash, the screen just gets bright.
S3E5 and S3E6 have a lot of flashing/glitching effects throughout that could be triggering.
S4E7 has a lightning flashing throughout the episode
S1E10 has the use of lightning a lot

Overall the show is very inclusive and has a positive outlook on differences (except the bad guys). Scorpia sometimes cannot do things they way others do due to her having claws for hands. People in the Horde are not accommodating. Entrapta is on the spectrum and people are not always understanding, but still support her. SPOILERS: Hordak is revealed in season 3 to be a "defective" clone who was sent to die because of it.

Not in the show itself, but it's worth noting that some translations (like Spanish and Polish) change the non-binary character into a binary gender

No one drowns, but there is a moment where a character is overwhelmed by water and is showing having difficulty staying above said water. The scene is meant to be comical, but may still be disturbing for some.
