Literally what the description implies. A woman wakes up to find that she is decaying alive. This starts as apparent bruising and a fingernail falling off, and ultimately progressing to her essentially being a walking corpse in advanced decay before her body melts in graphic detail. Note that the body horror can be interpreted as a metaphor for the feelings around trauma and sexual objectification, if that might be an important detail.
