She meets Freddy once briefly and then he hangs out outside her residence for weeks waiting to see her, he also writes her letters 2-3 times a day, he has a whole song about being on the street where she lives (it isn't shown a ton outside the song but it is discussed a couple times)

A character is forced to undress and bathe by a maid, but they only show them protesting undressing and no actual time in the bath

In the opening song Higgins says “ The Hebrews learn [their language] backwards, which is absolutely frightening” (which is also pretty strange as the line preceding it mentions Arabic which is also right to left). And earlier in the same scene he claims that English is the language of the Bible rather than a mix of Hebrew, Greek, and Aramic. Both are meant to portray him as unlikable and it being set in a period where antisemitism was pretty normal, although it’s probably further not helped in that his actor was allegedly very antisemitic on the set of Dr. Doolittle (1967)
