A child spends some subjective years in a place where time rubs faster, and ages into an adult while the rest of the cast only experiences a few weeks of time. Later in the game, a more recently-introduced character who never knew her as a child develops a crush on her. It is clear that he is only attracted to the adult -he never meets the child- but the situation is weird and bizarre enough that some may find it unsettling.

A karate master and his wife occasionally get into some kind of comedic affectionate martial arts... thing... involving a frying pan that she also uses as a weapon to repel invading soldiers. At one point, when he is languishing in a deep depression in a distant land, she even lends the frying pan to the party with instructions to whack him with it (and in keeping with comedic affectionate martial arts... things... this works). It is not supposed to be taken as domestic violence per se, but could trigger some people.

Not exactly, though a child who survived the burning of her village is shown being triggered by fire (she is a wizard, but can't cast fire spells because of this). Eventually she has to face her fear and overcome it.
