A canine villain is implied to have died at the end of his episode. Not to spoil anything, but it will probably be the only time you rejoice when a dog dies.

Freaky Fred is not implied to be a pedo. He was a metaphor for a child molester and/or serial killer, but he himself did not abuse children.

Courage was first abandoned as a pup, and then is abused by Eustace, who is sorta like his dad. He always calls him "stupid dog" and tried to kill him in "Ball of Revenge."

(Slight spoilers?) In The Mask, Bunny is mistreated by her "boyfriend", Mad Dog. It is a fairly realistic portrayal, as he verbally abuses her. Cartoon antics aside, it can be hard to watch, especially when it alludes to sexual assault and prostitution.

1. A giant alien squid is killed by a giant alien whale in "Last of the Starmakers" and you WILL cry like I did.
2. "Night at the Katz Motel" has some spiders dying iirc.
3. Throughout the series many animal characters are injured and put through slapstick and wacky shenanigans, but for the most part they don't ever die. Maybe at the end of "Ball of Revenge" there could have been death, but that's more "uncertain doom".

Courage is usually tormented by Eustace. In Ball of Revenge, the farmer even tries to kill the poor mutt. Additionally, Courage is on the receiving end of a lot of slapstick, and is harmed by some of the antagonists.

In one of the last episodes, Remembrance of Courage Past, a cruel vet sends dogs into space to experiment on them.

There's a comical gladiator-ish fight between Courage and a robot counterpart that is pretty much a glorified roomba.

Do NOT watch "Night at the Katz Motel" if you are arachnophobic. There are quite a bit of spiders in that one.

Two one-shot villains are insects. One is a cockroach and the other is a weevil. They appear in Courage in the Big Stinkin' City and Evil Weevil respectively.
Other less sapient bugs show up here and there, too.

One episode is dedicated to Fred, a freaky barber who feels the need to shave everyone and everything bald. The episode does include shaving, because, you know, freaky barber.

There are quite a lot of episodes that have anatomy being distorted, changed, or whatever in really disturbing ways. Especially most of Courage's screams which would result in this. However, the episode that provokes this the most are the episodes "Cabaret Courage" and "The Clutching Foot" with a Hollywood bigshotwho had become one with his cabaret and turned into a a talking terratoma in the former and Eustace's foot getting a fungus that swells his foot so much it takes over his whole body and starts a mobster crime spree in the latter.

During some of Courage's wild reaction shots - for those unfamiliar, after seeing a strange or creepy event, it tends to cut to the pink dog screaming, usually accompanied by a visual gag - his eyes are deformed, morphed, or even destroyed. In Record Deal, there is such a reason in which his eyes inflate and then pop. It's mild and not bloody at all, but still cringe-inducing.

I apologize for not remembering what number of episode but it’s when they take a vacation (not the first episode or anything), a cruise and it’s a earlier episode. You can easily see it coming because Courage is green and he then vomits down a pipe, only audio! Also same thing in the episode with the bananas, after the world spins and it goes back in time, it cuts to Courage and the others in the bathroom all looking green and Courage sticks his head in the toilet. Audio only. Another episode, I believe in season two, Courage is in a competition and has to eat a bunch of gross broccoli of varying degrees. Just skip the part overall, it’s gross. Then again in episode four of season three, (Hard Drive Courage) the episode begins with eustace looking unwell, and when Muriel feeds him the jello and tells him it has vinegar, he takes off courage’s hat and vomits into it, only audio again. Season three, second half of episode seven, Tulip’s Worm is generally stomach based and takes place in one with visible bile and a monster coughs them up up, but at the ending Muriel suggests a PBJ with vinegar and Courage begins to gag then vomits in a silver tuba, only audio! I’d avoid this episode if you’re sensitive overall, you’re really not missing anything. In season 3, episode 13, King Of Flan, towards the end of the episode when the king is chasing Courage, Courage begins to eat the flan and like vomit it back at at him like an attack? Pretty gross.

I don’t understand the yes votes. There isn’t any incest in Courage from what I can tell?

Well, a train crashes through a building in Courage in the Big Stinkin' City. No one is hurt and it's mostly comical.

In Courage vs Mecha Courage, Di Lung is hit by a truck. Later on, Mecha Courage runs over his namesake with a comically large wheel. This is played for laughs in both instances.
In another episode, Evil Weevil, the aforementioned Weevil is struck by the Bagges in their truck. He's fine, and it not only kicks off the plot, but leads to a rather comical exchange. Still, green fluid is visible on the windshield, and the way Jeeves (the weevil) is hit is both jarring and messy.

Nothing too major, but one of Courage's signature screams in "Courageous Cure" involves his insides coming out through his mouth. That's all I can really think of.
