In the DLC, there is a scene where Madeline tries to catch a bird. The bird makes a hurt noise when she succeeds but she apologizes to it.

the soundtrack in the second half of chapter five features a voice whispering backwards. It is low but if it bothers you try to turn the volume down in that section.

There is...depending on how you read it, unambiguous plurality in this game. It is handled very well. Some even go so far as to describe the game as a host and tormentor having to exist together. The plural representation is honestly some of the best we have ever seen, and has helped us learn a lot about ourselves

There is a very lengthy scene where the main character has a panic attack in a ski lift because it's too small, and too dangerous. this is part of the game's larger themes about recovery.

Celeste the main game has the option to disable strobe effects in its menus. There is an arcade version of Celeste available within the game that does NOT allow you to disable the flashing lights, and even flashes pretty badly. The arcade version is entirely optional and doesn't add anything.

You play as Madeline, who is confirmed to be trans by the developers. You can die through various hazards, but you respawn immediately and do not ever die within the narrative of the game.

Your main companion, Theo, is a black man who survives to the very end of the story and is featured in post-game art spending time with Madeline. At most, he's trapped in a magic crystal and has to be carried to safety by someone else, implied to be a manifestation of his own anxieties.
