In S2 (before S2E4) someone's sister is almost forced to a marriage. She is rescued by someone else. S2E6: Marital rape on-screen (I think ~16:00 but I can't be sure). The husband is a prick so you might want to consider skipping the whole episode. Overall, most of the female characters have either been somehow abused or they're (sexualised) witches. The rescue trope is used quite a lot. If you don't like that narrative, consider not watching the show.

S1E1: 31:00-35:00 a child's top is forcefully torn off by another child. 51:30-53:00 a man verbally harasses a woman. S1E7: rape on-screen. (~ 18:00).

S2E1: a woman stands in front of some men, who proceed to verbally harass her (19:00-21:00). S2E4: during the fight ~47:30 the gang rape of a woman is described. S2E6: Marital rape on-screen (I think ~16:00 but I can't be sure). S2E7 rape attempt ~31:00.

Overall, most of the female characters have either been somehow abused or witches (who are also sexualised). If you don't like that narrative, consider not watching the show.

There is a lot of violence and gore in this show. Violent cutting with swords and similar exists. S2E2 ~15:00 someone cuts a dead person's head off. The cut is inspected very close.

Graphic split second visual of someone getting an axe to the head.
Not so much as "squashed" as it kind of explodes.
The entire battle of this episode has a fair amount of head trauma.

S4:E5 also shows a character (who has been mortally wounded in the head in the previous episode). He is murdered by another character who turns his head bandage into a tourniquet and crushes his already fractured skull. As far as visual, it shows blood pooling in the whites of the eyes, but the audio is arguably more graphic.

Early in Season 5, a young girl attempts to leap between two buildings to safety, but doesn't make it. Later in the season, an army is cornered onto a sea cliff and several of the soldiers plummet to their deaths (bodies aren't shown in detail, but blood sprays when a few hit the rocks)

Haven't seen season 5 yet and can't until there's a timestamp. Someone please help!

S1 E4 @38 min, a man spits after having gotten s*ck. No real audio or visual of the actual thing, but it's clear what has happened.

S2 E3 @ 15:45-16:00 audio and visual v*

S2 E8 @ 49:40-42 a character spits up blood

S3 E1 @ 11:56-12:03 mostly audio (watch for the king getting up from the table)

S3 E2 @26:20-29 visual and audio (look for Uhtred riding his horse while Aethlewold is talking)

S4 E1 @ about 6:10-12 visual and audio (when it cuts away from the man talking)

S4 E3 @ 13:28 visual of sea water coming out of someone's mouth, no audio

S4 E8 @ 25:34-40 audio and visual (immediately after new ruler takes the throne)

S4 E10 @ 36:17-20 audio and visual (after people are choking on the smoky air)

S1E1 during the kidnapping scene the woman spits at the guy. S1E2 19:50 someone spits towards someone else. I doubt there's any actual spit, however there is an audio. They do it as a gesture to show disrespect. S2E3 ~18:10 someone spits towards someone else.

S5E8&9 Although no attempt is made this could be triggering. A character does contemplate suicide while looking outside of a window over a cliff. It is not done out of mental health reasons, it is so that she could escape a potential unwanted marriage.

Women are often judged for working as prostitutes/“whores” and that word is used as a derogatory term against women
