I'm not sure what to answer, but I can say that there's a scene in which a man shows up drunk at his ex-wife's and teenaged son's house and is out of order. He doesn't get violent as such, but he sort of overpowers his son in the form of a strange, semi-aggressive, forcible embrace, laughing joylessly while the son tries to wrestle free. After they've asked him several times to leave, he does. It was very uncomfortable for me to watch, and I imagine it would be much worse for someone who has experienced domestic violence or abuse. Furthermore, it's made exceedingly clear that the son has felt abandoned by his father most of his life, and the drunken behaviour is clearly not new to the son and ex-wife (the father is a good man with an alcohol addiction).

No, but a woman's ex-husband shows up very drunk and disorderly at her house, which may be a trigger for people who have been stalked by their ex-partner. Their teenaged son is present, too, and the father gets physical with him in sort of a mix between a hug and overpowering/wrestling; it's anything but fun for the boy. The father is thrown out before anything more happens.

The film is basically about alcoholism. Many scenes show addictive drinking.

Both drug addiction and alcoholism, pretty much as bad as it gets. Addiction is basically the movie's theme.

Someone gets several lacerations around one eye and is wearing a bandage covering the area for a while. The white of his other eye is very red, which we see up close. However, it doesn't take long before both eyes look normal and function normally. We never see the lacerations.

We see head traumas, but I don't remember any squashed heads. There's one scene right after the crash in which my co-watcher thought we briefly saw a woman with her head squashed under something, but he was wrong - her head and the topmost part of one shoulder has gone through a hole ripped in the plane's floor, and the edge has cut/stabbed the area just below the back of her neck, making her shirt bloody. We have no way of knowing the condition of her head.

No, but for a while it looks like it might happen, as about a hundred people are aboard a plane that's out of control and partially on fire.

Pretty much the entire lower body of one character is broken. We don't see it happen, but we're told, and we see him in hospital wearing casts and bandages. I believe we also see someone's ankle being broken because her foot is caught in something while her body is being thrown about, but I'm not sure if it actually is clearly breaking/broken. There may very well be more instances, as a lot of people are hurled around inside a plane, and some people leave the crashed plane, but I don't remember anything specific.

A man and a woman sitting on a porch talk about their parents, out of which three are deceased, one of them (the woman's mother, whose death is also mentioned in an earlier scene taking place in a stairwell at a hospital) having died of cancer. We're not told how the man's parents died.

A young man who's prominently featured in a rather long conversation scene (in a hospital stairwell) has terminal cancer, and is verbal about his disease and his impending death; he seems pretty much at peace with it. He's wearing hospital clothes, is bald and has several intubations/drops. He has a very rare type of cancer. Another character is mentioned who died of breast cancer long before the events of the movie.

Well, two addcited characters harm themselves numerous times by drinking and doing drugs... but that's probably not what's meant by the question.

Very much so; the lead-up to the crash and the crash itself take up a big chunk of the movie's running time and are shown very explicitly, including dead bodies.
