Lulu Danger's unsatisfying marriage takes a turn for the worse when a mysterious man from her past comes to town to perform an event called "An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn: For One Magical Night Only."
A man vengefully follows his wife from place to place after she's left him. He finds her and confronts her, grabbing her roughly. It doesn't seem to scare her; she yells "Security! A man is accosting me!" to get rid of him, but in sort of a sarcastic, bored and annoyed way. She didn't seem afraid of him before that, either, even though he's sort of domineering.
Not really, but there may still be triggers, since there's a domestic violence vibe in a marriage. He's somewhat domineering, BUT, unusually, she's pretty indifferent towards him and his behaviour throughout (she's played by Aubrey Plaza, so, you know). After she leaves him, he finds her and confronts her, grabbing her roughly. Again, it doesn't seem to scare her; she yells "Security! A man is accosting me!" to get rid of him, but in sort of a sarcastic, bored and annoyed way.
Technically yes, briefly. A man is robbing his brother-in-law's store right in front of him, and when the brother-in-law protests, saying "Are you seriously trying to rob me?!?", the man answers "No! Are you fucking crazy?!?" and runs out with the money.
Hmm... I believe a man cheated on his wife in the past (she shows up to yell at the other woman). --- During the events of the movie, a woman leaves her husband in hopes of getting back together with her ex, and she ends up kissing someone else and telling him that she loves him.
Hmm... Beverly sits in a tub with lots of bubbles. ... At one point, Lulu sits on the edge of a tub while letting the water is run, in order to read a letter in seceret; she doesn't actually take a shower or bath.
In a pool scene, Matt Berry's character appears with eyebrows whited out, drawn on thin eyebrows, blush on his nose, and wearing bright red lipstick. It's definitely very clown makeup.
There are two very similar scenes which are only about a man with a stomachache getting rid of some wind (being cheered on and having his belly rubbed by someone). Pretty small-sounding farts. --- I don't remember if anyone spits.
Could be. A character sitting in someone's kitchen is clearly sick (oxygen tube and drop) and has a violent, drawn-out coughing fit, but we don't know what it is. The person is only present in one scene.
Kind of. We see a new character who looks like an old man, moustache and all, and after a few moments someone addresses the person as Mrs. Paris, and it turns out it actually is a woman. I must admit I laughed.
There are many fat jokes throughout the whole film, as well as characters calling others fat as an insult. Two fat characters are shown having sex and this could be perceived as being played for laughs. If you are sensitive to fat jokes, you may want to skip this film.
All-out intercourse twice. Both doggie style. In the first scene, both persons are completely nude and uncovered, in the other, both parties dressed (skirt pulled up, pants pulled down just enough). --- No exposed genitals.
