A young girl named June with a big imagination makes an incredible discovery -- the amusement park of her dreams has come to life. As a matter of fact, we're not told or shown that she has cancer, just that she has something that makes her seriously sick. She gets a call from the doctor and looks defeated when she's told something over the phone; then everyone looks sad for a while (silent montage); then, looking sick and tired, she says to her daughter, "You know Mommy's sick, right?" and tells her that there are some doctors that can help her, so she has to go away for a while. Much later on in the movie, she comes back and says "I'm okay now". That's all we know. She doesn't lose her hair or anything.
