No autism misrepresentation specifically. However, the Durr Burger is portrayed as “stupid” or “silly” through traits characteristic of disabilities (like crossed eyes and the term “Durr” itself).
The horror game titled Baby is kinda questionable. It’s about a fetus getting revenge after not getting born, which is adjacent to anti-abortion myths alleging that fetuses/zygotes are alive. However, the fetus is unborn because of “an accident” and not because of abortion.
The drill sergeant character from Save the World is an amputee voiced by an able actor. Other modes don’t give characters voices so this is the only instance I know of.
a central plot point since about midway through chapter 1 has been the centerpoint of the multiverse (known as the zero point) becoming unstable and dragging other universes into Fortnites reality.
There was, but it was kinda fun. In fortnitemares 2020, when you get elemenated you turn into a purple ghost. And when you die that’s your last chance.
Worms wart back bling burps loudly and bubbles come out of his mouth when you drink shield. There also is an emote called burpee where you have a 50 50 chance to burp loudly. There is also an emote where you can fart
No, they removed cop cars. However, there is harmful propaganda in the sense that the game has a Tesla sponsorship. Tesla is owned by Elon Musk who is a white supremacist and transphobe.
Characters like The Joker are sometimes depicted with inaccurate portrayals of DID but the game doesn’t portray them this way. No character who is consistently portrayed as having DID in a misrepresentative way (like Two-Face) is present.
There is unfortunately an emote called ASMR Keys that involves the player character tapping on a keyboard for the sounds. Cannot remember the name, but there’s another emote with the character slurping on ramen noodles. The sounds of eating/drinking some consumable items, such as Slurpfish, may be unpleasant. And as with all multiplayer games with voice chat, triggers may be heard through others’ microphones.
"Durrr Burger.” "Durr" is an ableist term meant to sound like a disabled person speaking. The logo has eyes in different directions and a protruding tongue which are characteristic of ableist caricatures. Especially weird that they kept this name since it's better known as "Fortnite Burger" by fans. I’m not the only one who thinks it’s offensive btw: https://www.change.org/p/petition-to-remove-durr-burger-from-fortnite
The “seig heil” line from Green Day’s Holiday is uncensored, the song is against discrimination, though. Rue resembles a N*zi but she was pulled from the item shop and hasn’t been added back in years. Many racist players said hate speech while using the Rue outfit. You’re unlikely to find anyone using this outfit today but be warned
I’d argue there’s fat erasure, though (Peter Griffin’s skin is muscular instead of fat and there’s an official animation explaining why where he seeks help to “get swole”).
Ableism (the Durrr Burger is named after an ableist term and is a caricature of disabled people). Misrepresentation of Pacific Islander culture in LEGO Fortnite’s “Islander” characters. Jar Jar Binks, a character who embodies anti-Black stereotypes, has a skin. Pride cosmetics rarely if ever use exact Pride Flag colors which feels like a cop out to avoid backlash from queerphobes.
