You could argue that pitting a similarly-sized octopus and shark against one another could only have been for entertainment and might constitute abuse. However, this is played off as a natural occurrence within the scope of the story. Please use your discretion.

The Beast is eventually slain.
There is also a scene depicting a battle between an octopus and a shark that may be disturbing to some viewers, as it is very real stock footage from an aquarium. The octopus can be seen moving along a front aquarium wall before meeting with the shark. We do not see one creature definitively kill the other, but the footage obviously plays in reverse for a moment to lengthen the battle, which suggests that a final blow was struck, but not desired for the scene.
