Everyone's favorite chainsaw-wielding psychopath, Leatherface, is back for more prom-night gore, and this time he's joined by his bloodthirsty family. Four stranded yet carefree teens are taken in by a backwoods family, clueless of their host family's grisly habits. The terrified youths, including sweet Jenny, try to escape from Leatherface and his crazed clan, including the bionic Vilmer.
This movie contains 24 potentially triggering events.
the only gnc character in the movie is a serial killer. it's been a while since i saw this movie so i don't remember if it's exactly a "joke" but i figure it should be mentioned as it leans towards the "gender nonconformity for shock value" thing
Vilmer pushes Darla a few times, slaps her, and she also beats him up (not in self defense). He also puts his foot on her throat, making her choke. She doesn't die from that though
several teenagers are violently assaulted, but not full on raped on screen. theres a major subtext that if they live long enough, they WILL be raped. the main villain (not leatherface, this practically isnt a tcm movie) is extremely rapey, repeatedly assaults young girls, and its highly likely that the implication is he HAS kidnapped raped and murdered before. the assaults were bad enough it triggered me severely, its VERY close.
A guy is run over by a car repeatedly, so I'd think so. Later, Vilmer crushes one of the girls' head with his foot. He steps on it, pressing down, making her scream in agony until her head is squashed, and it makes a gross sound
there is a major plot point of nonsense related to the illuminati. one of the guys literally just straight up has the word on his truck. theyre not even hiding it.
four times. first time, no one is shown to be hurt. second time, it causes pretty major damage to the car and there's at least one injury. third time, no one is hurt. fourth time, the vehicle tips on its side but no one appears hurt
