I don’t believe it was explicitly shown, but it is implied after something bad happens and a character is shown with scratches on his face. He was shown purposely scratching his face in the previous series after a similar event.

All of the characters in this series are LGBT in some way, because of the nature of Cybertronians and Camiens both being mainly single-gendered species. Because of this, when someone dies, it's kind of inherently an LGBT person dying.
