J.D. does show up outside Veronica's window, once in an attempt to woo her and once in an attempt to kill her. He doesn't stalk her but there relationship is definitely super toxic.

Veronica and JD gaslight one another, but it becomes very prominent and heavier with Veronica. She attempts to gaslight him into listening to her/being the "perfect" and "honest" boyfriend, going so far as to throw an object, break it, then look him dead in the eye and say he was the one who broke it/wants him to admit it.

While the act of cutting is not shown, a character slits her wrists and is shown bleeding very badly for over a minute, until she collapses.

A character is hanged by someone else. Veronica is found as if she'd hanged herself, but she was faking her death and did not actually try to kill herself.

At one point one of the Heathers; Heather Chandler (a plus sized one who is shown to be proud of her body) overeats to prove a point only to vomit everything afterward.

Heather Duke is misgendered throughout the series. There is one rough scene where teachers argue and make a bunch of cheap jokes about how hard it is to understand pronouns.

One of the three Heathers (Heather Chandler) is plus sized, and is made fun of by stuck up people (including her mother) who deem her as unworthy because of her weight (despite her skill in acting/singing) to show that people are still cruel towards plus-sized body types, and how it affects her. But, I wanna make note that Heather herself is very confident in her body/doesn't take that hate from anyone.
