Agents J and K are back...in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him - secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.
This movie contains 16 potentially triggering events.
Not exactly trypophobic, but the villain’s body is pretty nasty. He has a creature that lives in a mouth-type hole in his hand. No clusters of holes, but it is definitely gross
Technically, yes. Early on you see a lot of people sucked out into the void of space, where they die horribly.
But thanks to the time travel events of the movie, these people end up not dying at all.
The villain’s hand is frozen by what appears to liquid nitrogen or something similar and his forearm comes off. It’s not graphic at all and extremely brief
A character is shown the future in order to get him to help K and J on their mission. It’s unclear exactly what he’s shown, but he later makes a comment that makes it seem like he knows he’s about to die right before he’s killed. If he does know he’s going to die, then he kind of sacrifices himself by allowing the events that he was shown unfold
The villain is an alien whose body and face kind of come apart/unfold. Pretty nasty. It’s very hard to describe but you primarily see his hand throughout the movie, and only his face at the very end
In the first scene, most of the characters die by either being killed by the villain or being sucked out of the prison that is on the moon. In the party scene, a woman is killed, likely just because the villain missed who he was actually aiming at. Towards the end of the movie, a soldier is killed
The main characters are part of a top secret agency that operates outside the government. The cops in the movie are portrayed as racist and incompetent
Time travel is a primary theme of this movie, including one character who can see all possible futures. Any tiny decision could change the course of history and the future. Everything turns out okay in the movie but it could be disorienting to some viewers
In the party scene, there is a character who looks feminine but then speaks and has a very low voice. It’s indirectly implied this character is an alien. The character is also credited as “transvestite”
In the first scene, a woman is bringing a cake into a prison and the camera focuses on her breasts and the cake jiggling as she walks. It’s not overly drawn out or anything
During a chase scene, multiple trucks and buses, etc crash into each other. There doesn’t appear to be any major damage and the aftermath is barely shown
