Tara, the young beautiful widow, returns with her two young children from country to her village. On her way home, she finds out that her grandfather has passed away. She distributes grandpa’s belongings among her neighbours. But there remains an old sword that no one will accept. One day on the road, she meets an ancient warrior. He claims that his clan have sent him to present time to take the old sword back. Tara finally submits the sword to him, but he returns upon realizing that he has fallen powerfully in love with her.
the brother-in-law of the main character declares his love for her and is said to have been following her around without her knowing it. he basically demands her to be with him
i wouldn't say abandoned, but the main character does neglect her children while overcome with the main plot, and also was going to leave them in the care of someone else so she could be a sacrifice
i'm not sure if it counts, but the time traveler returns to his time in the past by walking into the sea. he becomes completely emerged and never returns, so it could be construed as drowning
i don't think it counts as a death because he time travels back to the past where he is from, but he does so by walking into the sea. also main character's husband's death is spoken of, and her grandfather has just passed away before the timeline of the movie begins
main character does a few times, screaming in anguish. many women from the village also pat their heads over and over in a signal of being overcome with negative emotion
fake looking blood/wounds, but still might be upsetting for some. especially large blood spatter that covers most of the screen when an animal is killed
