Gyro was a former doctor and most of his flashbacks take place in his workplace, although most times not in the same vein as most hospital scenes

-The protagonist is paraplegic and ableist towards himself. He wants to heal his legs (to "get from negative to back to zero); that being his motivation almost throughout the whole part. He is clearly depressed and thinks of himself as useless. -A nurse is seen to practice medical malpractice on the protgonist in a flashback. (Non-consensually taking blood since "he can't feel it anyways".)

Although there is a pregnant character and some themes of childbirth arise for the character, such as pain and discomfort, no actual process of childbirth takes place (no baby is naturally born from the pregnancy.)

Several characters have revolvers, and they are used rather frequently throughout the story.
