Murphy is a flawed and irreverent woman who just happens to be blind and is the only “witness” to the murder of her drug-dealing friend, Tyson. When the police dismiss her story, she sets out with her dog, Pretzel, to find the killer while also managing her colorful dating life and the job she hates at Breaking Blind — the guide-dog school owned by her overprotective parents.
This tv show contains 46 potentially triggering events.
The dog does NOT die though you think she does at first (implied). What actually happens is a spoiler for the plot but the dog is eventually found safe and sound by the owner.
S2Ep2 around 18 mins and 30ish seconds, there's a dead rat in a locker. Very brief scene, but if you want to avoid seeing it, don't look when they're going to the lockers
There are three scenes that could be potentially triggering.
1 - A character mentions she has been raped in the past when confessing to a priest she doesn't know who her son's father is.
2 - A character falsely accuses someone of rape, and makes up a triggering story to sell it.
3 - A little girl is nearly raped in season 3, before someone stops it and a fight ensues.
There's an implication of such, nothing direct- but a person is tied up in a burning building
(Spoilers: she didn't, but the audience and characters aren't sure for a few episodes)
Several children die throughout this show. Though very few are shown being killed, their maimed bodies are shown being moved/discovered/exhumed/ect quite often.
A father commits suicide.
Another father dies in a car accident.
Another father dies when he falls and hits his head.
Another father dies of a gunshot.
A mother dies from a gunshot too.
I do not remember seeing any clowns in the show. Someone has gone through and marked Yes" for every single answer and it is throwing off the correct answers. If there is a clown I'm forgetting about please leave a comment.
First time I believe is when Murphy and Felix go into a vehicle that was in a compound. Second time is when everyone is at the bar in season two episode 10 I believe. Both times it’s Felix
There is idk why someone said no. There are jokes about autism and it’s implied Felix is autistic and that’s why everyone hates and bullies and excludes him
Their is a scene where a woman discusses how she would have had ended a pregnancy had she had the means. Given the time and place however she could not.
It is unknown to be incestuous at first, but it's later revealed to be of that nature.
Later, in the second season, the incestuous relationship is shown once more, but it's revealed to be a dream.
You see the person getting hit from the driver's perspective and then from a side view. It's generally bloodless but still graphic to imply they would of died from the event.
An urban legend is told about someone who drowns (and it is theorized that the season 03 will touch the subject in more detail). Also on one occasion a character believes that a person has drowned but was only relaxed in the lake.
