There is a brief scene where it is implied that a nurse assaults Joe. It is not graphic.

Arguably. Joe is in a permanent state of incapacitation and he is very unhappy to be kept alive.

A nurse attempts to perform a mercy kill on Joe by clamping his breathing tube. However, she is stopped by a supervisor. Joe is left to suffer in his condition.
