The ship in which the cast is on begins to flood at the beginning and a large wave surges down a hallway towards the protagonist, but it's a very small moment and not inherently a tsunami. Worth mentioning though

If you go through Door 2, you solve a puzzle which involves a character being restrained to a chair, though you do not see this. Said character is released at the end of the puzzle, unharmed. In the true end, the murderer is tied up and gagged, being sent to prison. You do not see this happen either, though you can hear his muffled complaints every now and then.

[SPOILERS]
In the middle of the game, one character attempts to sacrifice himself, but it is revealed at a later point that he knew that he would not die and was faking it. Late in the game, another character mentions sacrificing himself actually believing he would die, but another character foils that plan. Finally, in another end, one character successfully sacrifices himself to kill another character, but the sacrifice was going to die anyways.

None of the cast is trans, nor intentionally going by a different name. However, the cast quickly agree to go by codename after two characters call each other by their actual names, and the reveal of some characters' actual names is used for plot twists.

This is a core plot point, especially with the game surrounding multiple endings. You must go through certain routes first before you unlock the "true" ending and the game and story adknowledges that and ties it into the plot, that what must be done must be done in order to keep things in tact and prevent disaster and bad things from occurring.

To give context for those who don’t care about spoilers:

[ENDING SPOILERS]

It’s revealed that the “narration” coming from the bottom of the DS screen (or in the “novel” screen for the ports) isn’t actually coming from the protagonists internal thoughts or an uninvolved narrator. It’s actually all made from the point of view of the main antagonist who is watching the protagonist and everything he does throughout the game through his own eyes by complicated supernatural means and observing everything that transpires.

Yes, one character brings up "futility" and multiple times the concept of existence and natural laws being bended is debated between characters without seemingly any lead-up to the conversation. The major plot point also in theory messes around with this concept and notably Shroedinger's Cat.

There are multiple endings, and while the "true ending" is good, there are several bad or sad endings.

One character was in a car crash in the past, but this is only spoken about after the fact.

There is significant blood and character death seen on-screen. Some of the more explicit scenes are not seen in as much detail (for instance, a character explodes, but their body is not seen, just a blood splatter on the wall), but are described very thoroughly and it is still quite gruesome.

Near the end of certain routes, one of the characters uses a gun to hold another character hostage. Near the end of one route in particular, a different character is shot multiple times and dies soon after.

There is a bad ending where the player character is stabbed and falls face-down into a body of water, thus killing him.
