Not only are the majority of victims in this movie women, the majority of their reasons for being trapped are rooted in misogyny.
Jill Tuck is killed in a dream sequence while wearing a somewhat skimpy outfit. A woman is cut in half for two-timing the two other men victimized alongside her. Two women on Bobby Dagen’s team are killed for perpetuating a lie. Someone, not going into detail, was killed solely for being an unpopular character on the internet, despite her having many character strengths—It’s widely assumed she was hated for being a woman. And an innocent woman is killed near the end for…loving someone without knowing he’s a fraud? She is also given one of the most brutal deaths throughout the entire series—Most of these women are, as this movie was marketed heavily on its gore. Very stupid.
