After being put on a supposedly uninhabited island as a form of behavioral rehabilitation, a high school senior finds that he's not alone on the island, and that getting discovered could be deadly.
As a gal that grew up in the 80's, I found this reminiscent of Blue Lagoon with Brooke Shields. Here we have Madelyn, all alone on an island, who looks like a young model fresh off the runway, braless under a tank top and cutoff shorts or a makeshift dress full of cutouts that show her upper thighs. Her hair is clean, her pale skin isn't even sunburned or tan. This is the lagoon as a horror movie, and 40 or so years later, I find it sad that we couldn't find appeal in an at least slightly dirty, bug-bitten, brown-skinned, average looking actress wearing much smarter forest garb instead. Shame on us.
