The game has two endings, a "bad ending" you get by beating the game normally and a "good ending" you get for beating all the secret minigames. In the bad ending, it's implied that the spirits of the dead children weren't able to move on to afterlife and all still trapped in animatronic suits. The good ending is a bit more bittersweet, as the kids are finally able to move on. However, it's also implied that Springtrap survived and later games may or may not have retconned the ending.
