idk if it can be considered hate speech, but there's clearly incel/nice guy behavior, the guy being absolutely entitled, that he was nice and put others (notably a woman) first so he deserves to be with her with or without her consent, and it is showed to happen several times during his life (so I guess it enters into misogyny and so hate speech)
S1E1 first a child jumps into water and doesn’t come up as a prank, and then we see a Black man struggling in the water in a flashback. His crying wife tells his son he was swept away. Later in this episode a Black child nearly drowns but is rescued.
