The story deals with adults so no child is abused "on screen", but there are several instances in which it's clear that Henry was emotionally abused for a lot of his childhood.
It's brought up once that Henry's first time has been when he was 17 with a friend of his brother, who would persumably be older. Although it should be noted that the age of consent in the UK is 16. It isn't explored at all, and is only mentioned in passing
It doesn't happen "on screen," but there is a conversation in chapter 14 that discusses it. There aren't specific details about the encounter, but it does talk about the character who was assaulted being manipulated into keeping quiet about it. It is also mentioned once in chapter 15, but it does not go into any details.
The father of the prince died of cancer prior to the events of the book. It is mentioned several times, and the prince is still very distraught about it.
i believe there is a joke about a character “being kidnapped” but they went completely of their own will, were not pressured, and it was a very safe situation
[SPOILER WARNINGS] no one /actually/ cheats, but after the main couple kisses for the first time and before they start dating, one of them kisses a girl so as to remain in the closet. they also have to fake one date each after they get together, again to stay in the closet. they both know about the fake date and both agree to let the other do it. it’s entirely fake and they’re both entirely committed to one another.
No, but there is this passage "Many of the rooms in the White House have a similar hauntedness, a sense of history that hangs like cobwebs no matter how pristine the rooms are kept. He's used to sleeping alongside ghosts."
There is mention of the protagonist throwing up after drinking too much during a sporting event prior to the events in the book. Aside from that there are several instances where characters mention feeling like they might vomit. The protagonist threatens to throw up on the Prince early on in the book.
The main character visits a children hospital with cancer patients. It’s also briefly mentioned that one of the character’s parents died due to cancer.

henry and alex both have panic attacks. to skip them, henry’s is right after his fake date with june, and alex’s is a couple of pages after he and henry are outed.
Nobody dies, but there is talk of suicide
[SPOILERS] when Henry talks to Alex about family problems, specifically things dealing with his sister and their past
None of the characters do or say anything antisemitic to my recollection, but there is a passing mention of a former monarch who abdicated the throne because he was a Nazi.
Prince Henry gets referred to as "Queen Henry" in the press when news about his sexuality gets out. Prince Philip jokes derisively that Alex would be the Duchess of Cambridge and get to be the Queen if Henry married him.
the book is intended for adult audiences and has multiple sex scenes, especially in the middle of the novel. if you are going in expecting this to be a ya novel, you will be caught off guard by the amount of sex, so prepare in advance!!
No, but there is an early scene where the characters fear that a shooting is taking place in a hospital. What actually happened was that someone lit fireworks.
