Pig slaughtered Season 2 episode 1 - within the first 10 minutes or so, we see with graphic detail, a full grown pig at a farm have a bolt gun set off at its temple, showing blood drip down its face, and then immediately after it is shown hung, and is then sliced open with a knife to finish the job.
Clearly this is how pigs (and many others animals) are actually slaughtered for meat production, but to see it in graphic detail, without any warning was absolutely horrific.
