I highly recommend NOT WATCHING this movie if you are triggered by gaslighting or are sensitive to the subject!! The gaslighting is blatantly obvious and could be considered very upsetting.

They're not quite seizures, but all of the infected people show violent spasmodic behavior due to the infection. There is violent convulsion.

<SPOILERS> There is a scene where the protagonist's mouth has completely mutated into a circular maw lined with sharp teeth. // Half of the protagonist's lower face is unable to be repaired from the car crash, and it leaves her teeth exposed. Wires are also used to keep her jaw shut.

The main character is NOT possessed, but is severely ill and suffers a lot of discomfort and violent convulsions due to the changes in her body. She IS, however, instinctively driven to sate her hunger cravings when she has them.

The special facility the protagonist goes to is VERY similar in architecture to a classic mental asylum, but the outer look of the building is all that it has in common with those facilities.

THERE IS body dymorphia!!! The protagonist has new teeth sprout from her jaws, and several appendages appear (under her tongue, and in her armpit) after her reconstructive surgery. She was also severely damaged and deformed by the accident she was in. //One of the victims killed by the protagonist resurrects and contorts violently as he stands up, and ends up mutating into a grotesque, less than humanoid thing with teeth and muscles, etc.// <SPOILERS> The doctor who did the protagonist's surgery had performed several c/ancer treatments on his "late" wife, which resulted in her mutating into a nearly amorphous creature, which had several tentacle-like appendages emerging from her body. Only her upper torso, arms, and head remained humanoid.

The protagonist suffers a LOT of abdominal discomfort due to the after affects of her surgery, and cannot hold down normal food after eating it, resulting in her vomiting it up. It's mentioned several times throughout the movie that she has a stomachache and can't eat normally.

The Soska Sisters really like their thematic lighting and practical affects. Definitely worth putting a seizure warning on.

I wouldn't recommend watching this movie if you're at all squeamish. There is a LOT of blood, gore, and bodily fluids in general.
