There is a case where the character is a woman in an abusive relationship, though she eventually leaves at the end of the episode.

Nothing particularly graphic, but there is a sexual undertone to several cases.

In episode 5, a man speaks about how he wished to “become one” with his little sister for a long time, even prior to her turning 16. He is said to be 5 years older than her, making him 21 during this time.

One scene in episode 4:
Please note, I am using Netflix for the time stamps, so the precise time may vary depending on which platform you’re using.
The scene happens when the brown-haired exorcist (NOT the medicine seller, but the other exorcist) says he’s most afraid of steamed buns. He’s seen eating a hallucinated steam bun (the viewer cannot see it, so it appears like he’s eating nothing) and after a couple of bites, he appears very grossed out, and runs to v* over the ship’s railing. No visual, but there is audio. Unfortunately, the audio is still heard in the background when characters begin speaking again, but there isn’t any plot important dialogue. So if you want to skip ahead, just go to 13:21 after he starts eating the hallucinated steam bun. If you don’t want to miss anything, then you can mute it and you won’t see anything, there’s no visual aside from his cheeks puffing up and him leaning over the railing. Make sure subtitles are on so you don’t miss the dialogue while muted. It’s safe to unmute again at 13:21.
Seasickness is mentioned a couple of times throughout the episode, but this is the only instance in which anything actually happens.

Especially during exorcisms, which happens practically every episode.

It seems like Shino miscarries in episode 2, but it’s left up to speculation if she did miscarry, or if it was symbolic.

There is a black man in episodes 1 and 2 that is drawn resembling blackface / minstrel shows, with sambo lips.

Not outright, but episodes 1 and 2 can seemingly come close. It doesn’t outright portray anti-abortion themes. However, the Mononoke / spirit in these episodes are a group of aborted fetuses, who are portrayed as a large amount of young babies. These spirits are put through an exorcism, in which the infant-like spirits are shown to be sad since they couldn’t get the chance of being born. This can be reminiscent to pro-life propaganda. But it’s not. These abortions were forced, and not by choice, so it isn’t anti-abortion as much as it is anti-forced-abortion, but the depiction of fetuses who are sad that they couldn’t be born can certainly come too close for confront at some point.
