Solomon and Tummler are two teenagers killing time in Xenia, Ohio, a small town that has never recovered from the tornado that ravaged the community in the 1970s.
The creators have stated that no animals were harmed in the making, and that all scenes containing animal abuse were done with puppets and stuffed animals, however the movie's portrayal of animal abuse is still very realistic and -like another commenter said- almost encouraging. Anyone who may be encouraged or especially disturbed by these scenes should stay well away from this movie
A pedophile lures away 3 young girls from a bowling alley under the guise of helping them look for their lost cat. He takes them to a parking lot, then attempts to inappropriately touch one of the girls under her skirt. He is then fought off before anything goes forward from there.
This is so the kind of movie that would have vomit to me for some reason. The subject matter and even the actual, physical film used itself and even cinematography. I find myself thinking people were somehow wrong, but it's really not in this. I was surprised when I saw it was a "no." Forgive me. Insomnia.
Kinda. There is a neuro-divergent character who is pimped out by her brother exploiting her. Outside of this scene characters are nice and supportive of her.
Tummbler’s sibling is described to be a trans female, but Tummbler often refers to them as his “brother” But it’s unknown if they are trans or a cross dresser. Same goes for a character named Jarrod.
The entire film is an event horizon of human misery with pretty much no positivity. The end is just as meaningless and depressing as any other part of the film.
No actual violence, but when Solomon's mother tells him to smile and he ignores her, she presses a gun to the back of his head and threatens to kill him, but then tosses it away
