Correcting the comment about the 'anti-piracy' dog death - the video was a fake edit, made during a time when fake anti-piracy screens were being made a lot. Your dogs cannot die in this game at all, whether your copy is legitimate or not.

You can refuse to feed or wash your dogs, as well as scare them with toys they don't like. Neglecting your dogs and not cleaning up after them on walks will cause NPCs you meet in the game to call you out, and you will lose trainer points.

Though it isn't dog-fighting in the sporting sense, if you meet another dog on a walk and your dog doesn't get along well with it, they will attack each other. The fighting isn't very graphic, mostly just lunging at each other, but it could still be upsetting. To avoid this, exit the interaction if either dog starts to charge at each other or if the drums start to play.

Dog breeding does not exist in this game. This was just a fake rumour that circulated in the 2000's. In fact according to the creators, the dogs in the game are just puppies and aren't sexually mature anyway.
