A drug dealer is present and pushy in the beginning. Soldiers are seen injecting a drug that helps them stay alert, but they are twitching and dissociated as if they were abusing drugs. This is due to neurological side effects of the drug they are using to study alert.

Mental illness is not explicitly blamed for violence. However, the people suffering sleep deprivation display severe symptoms, including mental disturbances and violence that are similar to psychosis.

Many accounts of recklessness and behavior that leads to their own deaths, that could therefore be viewed as suicides.
Also one successful suicide via gunshot; a female soldier comes into a room where someone else is handcuffed+restrained.
She seems to recognize this person as someone they are not, as at this point the soldier has gone about 4+ days without sleep. (Skip when you hear her say “Sandra?”)
She shoots at the restrained person, then turns the gun on herself and shoots herself, very likely an intended murder-suicide.

Yes, however most of the self-caused deaths are more accidental than intentional. Symptoms of sleep deprivation may include impaired decision making, disordered thinking, delusions, hallucinations, etc. These symptoms have caused many of the cast to either commit reckless decisions that caused their deaths or made them delusional enough to commit suicide. (Timestamp is 1:16:30)

A woman thinks that someone is attacking her, but a few seconds later it is revealed that they never were, instead they were in another part of the room.
A soldier mistakes a pinecone for a grenade.
Another soldier makes a comment about there being too many spiders (there are none), insinuating she’s hallucinating them.

A family driving down the road comes across a large group of people standing in the road mostly or fully naked, just facing the rising/setting sun.
The family warily and slowly drives through the group, and the people make way for them. There is no interactions between them save for some eye contact as they pass by.
Uncovered breasts are seen on the women, and the men are shirtless, but I didn’t see any uncovered genitalia.
