The entirety of Kashyyyk features the Wyyshokkk, a giant spider enemy. The first encounter, one will literally ambush you. You have to fight this one to get a new ability to traverse the exterior of Kashyyyk. There’s also a portion of the planet played underground and while I didn’t get that far because of said spiders, I can only imagine that they’d be abundant down there.

No one is outright possessed, but BD-1 eventually gains the ability to hack into hostile Droids. When Cal questions how he feels about doing it, he’s clearly remorseful/uncomfortable based off the whining noise he makes and Cal’s reaction. However hacking into Droids is entirely optional.

The needles are never shown, but stims are used as a healing mechanic. In one scene at the beginning of the game, Cal is shown injecting himself with a stim in a cutscene (right after he gets hurt by an electric shock and BD1 comes to check on him). He doesn't breach skin and uses the stim through his clothes on his chest. In combat, this mechanic is barely noticeable.
