No purposefully done self-harm cutting in this show; but they do show someone very briefly getting a shave, hair being cut a couple of times, and some blood coming from a possible cut(s) on one character's head/face.

A streetwalker is picked up by a client in her carriage and brought home, and the client implies that her porter could capture her if she tried to flee. Ultimately she consents to becoming a kept woman. So it is exploitive, but not kidnapping per se.

It is not shown, but described after the fact. There is a baby in the series (episode 3) that came to the family after the mother’s death in childbirth.

The main character Nan who the story follows never states for sure how they consider themselves, but if I had to I would say they were gender fluid or non-binary. But this could perhaps be a trigger to someone as they are called both she/her and he/him at different points throughout the mini-series and it isn't always clear as to which they would prefer and when.
