ReportSynopsis
Eddsworld is an independent British comedic flash animation production company that was created by Edd Gould in 2004. Eddsworld was also part of the CakeBomb network from 2006-2008, when it dissolved. Eddsworld currently consists of over thirty-five episodes, over 150 comics, flash games, and various art work distributed on the home website, YouTube, Albino Blacksheep, Newgrounds, DeviantART, and the BBC. The episodes are the focal point of the organization, which star Edd, Tom, Matt, and previously Tord, and run anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Before his death, animations were created solely by Edd Gould and co-written by himself and colleagues Thomas Ridgewell, Matthew Hargreaves, Thomas Bown, and Tord Larsson. It is currently under direction of Thomas Ridgewell. Eddsworld is created using Adobe Flash, a computer animation program.

spoilers - what tord did to edd, matt, and tom in the eddisode “the end part 2” could be considered gaslighting/manipulation, considering he not only convinced edd and matt that tom was a bad person to the point where tom moved out and they barely even noticed, but also because when he gets the giant robot out and goes on a rampage a hurt edd exclaims that he thought him and tord were friends, while tord essentially responds by saying they were never friends, even though he knew that they were at at least one point, which IS the pure definition of gaslighting if you ask me. a more minor example of this is when he punches matt in the face in the same eddisode, and even though matt gets incredibly disappointed, tord soon after acts if nothing had happened, and even bribes him with ice cream in order to possibly get him to forget the event ever happened

In the episode Christmas Eddventure, Tom is tied up and in a cabinet for the whole thing until he bursts out at the very end, shown to be injured. In the episode directly following, Saloonatics, Matt is trapped in a cage by Tom, but it’s played off for laughs and he gets released at the end of the episode. Also in Saloonatics a woman is tied to train tracks and gets run over by a train. In Zanta Claws II, Santa is briefly shown in a cage but he also gets released, and in 25 Feet Under the Seat, the main gang get tied up/cuffed but also released. In Edd Nogg two characters are tied to train tracks and get run over at the very end.

I know in some early episodes there are actual swear words dropped, like in Zombeh Attack 2, Edd says “Holy s**t and in The Dudette Next Door, Edd says “You son of a b***h These largely disappeared as the series went on, and during Legacy (2012-2016) there’s barely any swear words to be found. (Unless you count Saloonatics, in which a character repeatedly says the word “Ass” to refer to a donkey.) depends on which era you mean. “the end part 2” from the legacy era could be considered bittersweet at best. and it kind of depends on how much you were attached to tord as a character, after he betrays everyone and then looks off to the distance and leaves after his giant robot is destroyed, especially considering that according to the creators he’s most likely not going to show up in eddisodes any more after “the end” (probably in respect to the real tord because he requested his character to be out of the show back in 2008, which was when he left)
but if you mean the beyond era, the show started back up after a 6/7 year long hiatus back in august of 2020, or in other words, it’s brand new, so the ending of the beyond era hasn’t come out yet, and won’t for a while
