Unless you count sapient dogs fighting in mechas with human like motivations for battling as dog fighting, than no.

Several of the enemy types are giant bugs, though one character manages to befriend a couple giant bug and make them beloved pets, which may take the heat off.

One of the NPCs in the game, Alman, is an "okama" stereotype, this essentially means they're a combination of various gay and transgender stereotypes rolled up into one caricature.

Alman is an adult character with a stereotypical "okama" design and behavior including alot of make up, effeminate demeanor and unclear gender identity, though others refer to them as male, at least in the english version.

In the story, Alman owns a warehouse and is a courier with their own business.

Whilst Alman isn't a villain, they flirt a bit and use some innuendo with the 16 year old protagonist, Red and Red is visibly unnerved by this. He even admits to his sister that he dreads having to take jobs for Alman.

So I can definitely see this upsetting people and I understand this.
