A dog is seen in the opening scene, when his human family is all killed. We don’t see the dog again but there is an empty dog kennel in the killer’s backyard.
Religious objects are used (such as holy water and crosses) but they’re talked about and used as a way to fight vampires. A vampire asks at one point if someone has faith, but that’s the extent of it.
People really need to learn the definition of Gaslight. To gaslight someone does not mean to not believe them when they say something others think are crazy. Gaslighting is a form of abuse, and it is to intentionally and maliciously target someone, to make them feel crazy by making them feel crazy. This can also include making others around them believe they are crazy because they sound so unstable. Gaslight is abuse. Not believing someone and making fun of them is not abuse.
