Some of the characters in this film are animals and others are humans. They discuss the murder of another character, but we don't find out if the murder victim was an animal or what kind.

The characters discuss a murder where the motive may have been jealousy over a cheating partner. However, if we trust the cop's account, it was a misunderstanding and there was actually no cheating.

If you're interested in watching a David Lynch short, you probably aren't too concerned about a happy ending. If you took everything in this film seriously I guess it could be sad, but it's just too surreal and odd to be happy or unhappy. It won't leave you feeling devastated or anything.
