Damaged teeth are mentioned (maybe shown? Not sure?) but you don't see them get damaged and the damage likely happened through natural causes.

This version of the musical is pretty campy in terms of it's torture aspect. It's a rated "G" so no blood or gore while "in action."
The whipping is probably the most uncomfortable part because it feels prolonged, but again, it's campy 70s style. They show the weapon in action only really a few times, but use slow motion during the scene like they had discovered it yesterday lol. You do hear the sound - which I can't stand so I have to mute it.
The titular character does get crucified.

With no Sunday resurrection - this is a story about how Jesus lived historically as a man, not son of God.

Heavy on the ending as Jesus is left to die on the crucifix alone with his thoughts. Eerie audio and harsh sun glares are combined to make the scene thoroughly distressing

Judas hangs himself on a tree. This scene is shown on screen. Also since Jesus gives himself up to the Romans, knowing they will kill him.

Though the sequence of "see how I die" DOES include multiple paintings of Jesus's death shown on frame, each shot is given multiple seconds before cutting to the next. Low risk

This movie (and this musical) perpetuate the myth that the Jews killed Jesus and set the Jews up narratively as the only true villains in the story.

To address the previous comment stating Judas speaking ill of Jesus (the whole movie really), it isn't hate speech. No slurs, no anti-anything except Roman occupation, is ever used. There's a lot of people against Jesus at the end there but it never dips into hate speech territory

The market scene has caged dancers & one does a thrusty dance move towards the camera. I mention this because it really bothered someone I watched it with so it can be uncomfortable for someone who is sensitive to that kind of content
