In 4x05, someone is attacked by a swarm of bees; the attack is not graphic, but the bees are shown closing in on the person in a car. The scene starts 9:40 minutes in and ends around 10:30 (intro included in the playtime).

A character has struggled with misuse of and addiction to ADHD medication pre-series. This topic comes up throughout the series again, I think it was in season 4.

A cuts Aria's hair while she's asleep, while it's not shown on screen, Aria wakes up and chunks of her hair are on the pillow. This happened in Season 5 I think

Dentist appointments are vaguely mentioned in some episodes, but as far as I remember, no details about tooth damage are discussed in this context. Human teeth are shown (removed post-mortem, no obvious signs of trauma) in 3x02.

The theme of being kidnapped plays a role throughout the series when trying to solve a missing person's case of a teenage girl. In season 5 the protagonists are kidnapped and tortured, this plays a role until the end of the series. One child gets kidnapped but not harmed when a character takes it away to a nearby place to scare another character.

Many of the characters that die in the first and second arcs (seasons 1 through 6) are high-school aged. A horror story is told in which a young girl (pre-teen) stabs her twin sister A young boy in a mental institution is said to have overdoses on pills, we later find out his death was faked. A high school girl is murdered and found in her girlfriends back yard, her body is seen being taken by police in a bodybag. She is said to have had her throat crushed with a pipe. A high school girl is knocked off a sound stage and hits her head severely; killing her in the process. A teen girl is buried alive after having her head by a shovel.

Although not supernatural in nature several characters have visions of a character believed to be dead; other characters hallucinate deceased characters at one point.

A torture device set up by the villain has characters sit at a device with images of their friends and switches, they get told that they must choose one of the friends to be electrocuted or they all will be. It later emerges that this was about the psychological aspect of the torture and none of them were actually electrocuted. In season 7 upon finding a basement of files; the characters discover that when having her sister institutionalised, one character authorised electro-shock therapy to be used on her. Although it is never explicitly stated or shown it is implied that the character suffered due to this. The main villain of the show spent almost the entirety of her life in a mental institution; it is implied that she was forced to undergo electro-therapy While exploring a sanitarium; the characters find electro-shock therapy devices.

One episode has a character get locked in a fun-house at a carnival, lots of neon and bright/flashing lights. A different episode has a police officer unknowingly under the effect of a drug (cannabis) and losing his footing and blacking out at an arcade, again lots of neon and bright lights.

A cop abuses his power over a woman and enters sexual relations with her in exchange to stopping an investigation against her daughter. A teacher knowingly enters a romantic & sexual relationship with his student when she is underage. This is discussed as generally negative but with no lasting consequences. They are portrayed as a good couple. Attempted rape in season 1, another character intervenes. In Season 7 there are two instances of somebody being tricked into sex by their partner's twin (under the assumption that that person is their partner)

One character is introduced via childhood videos and a name, leading everyone to believe the character is male which leads to everyone adressing them as such. Later on the character is revealed to be a transgender woman. Her former name/deadname and he/him pronouns are still often used when discussing the past, she herself does this. In general the character is accepted and not misgendered with malicious intent, the only character described as explicitly transphobic does not address the gender of this person.

Throughout the show there are several ableist remarks, like referring to a psychiatric clinic as "the looney bin", mentions of "driving the short bus", saneist language like "crazy"/"sick" when meaning "evil"/"harmful"/"bad", etc.

Nothing sad actually happens at the end, it's a happy ending. However, like all shows, when they come to an end it is naturally sad.

in 4x25, multiple of characters are held at gunpoint. Shots are fired at some point and one character is hit by a bullet in the stomach. (Spoilers further down if you need to know how this ends!) . . . . . . . . . The character survives after being committed to a hospital and getting surgery. The aftermath of this act of gun violence is discussed at some points in the next season, including graphic depictions of the scar left after surgery.

There are two instances of minor car-crashes in which headlights are seen approaching the side-window, both instances involve the driver being taken to hospital however they have no injuries. A mid-season finale ends with the image of a pickup having apparently veered off the road, glass and luggage can be seen lying on the road and the driver and passenger can be seen to be unconscious. The passenger succumbs to her injuries a few episodes later. One episode contains a scene where a car crashes through the front porch and living room of a characters home, no-one is injured or killed and it is implied that the driver bailed out prior to the crash. An intoxicated character crashes his car into the rear of another, no injuries or deaths. A characters mother is involved in a moderate car crash (not seen on screen) the villain sends another character a text message with the image off the totalled car as a threat. The son mentions that his mother felt like she was being ran off the road and it is heavily implied that this was the case. A character disappears from town and subsequently police arrive at his family's home with his wrecked motorcycle.

This is a theme throughout the show. Characters are seen being buried, one is seen struggling to get out (we can see their hand). Characters describe what they imagine it to feel like.
