In one scene, a locked trunk is shaking and meowing. The player opens it and finds it empty. Missing cats are a subplot of the game, and while they aren't hurt on screen, the player does find the aftermath.

Characters can feed and visit a pig; several days later, the pig is served for dinner. Additionally, see the "does the cat die" entry.

A woman was murdered in the past, and there's a couple of lines that can be interpreted to mean that she was raped first. It's not conclusive or graphic.

Not on-screen, but missing pets are a theme of the game, and with one exception, that subplot does not end happily. The player does find the bodies of multiple animals. The voiceover descriptions are disturbing, but the models don't match the description.
