No, but the animals are action movie characters, and thus frequently harm or attempt to harm each other. Also humans throw dogs into dingy and depressing dog pound kennels. Also they visit a cat version of Alcatraz and you see "criminal" cats inside prison cells.

Yes, but humans aren't forcing them in a ring, they are fighting out of their own volition.

A police dog fails at his job and is retired from service. First off, this is not how training works and they must pass a lot of tests of traingin before being able to go on duty. Secondly, they say he’s the states property and will be put into a kennel to live out the rest of his life when most service dogs are adopted out to families, especially their handlers or people on the force for retirement and pretty much become just living their life as pets, no responsibilities or further training. The state often doesn’t want to pay for boarding costs, cleaning costs and food costs and there is a risk the animals aren’t being played with or given mental stimulation which is neglectful abuse. Also the guy says the human actively willing to adopt the dog can the Jase he has a baby now and it’s too much responsibility, but that’s his call to make not a strangers.

Someone comments that a character has lost weight before realising it is a different person they are talking to.
When the dog tellls the cat to switch to skim milk, he also directly calls him a fat cat in a negative way.
In alCATtraz there is a fat cat who makes a comment about a pigeon looking tasty while already having two empty tins of tuna beside them. The cat isnt just fat like a regular fat cat looks but like overexageratedly ball shaped. They are either using CGI, puppets or a cat-fat suit for this.
A fat cat asks about food multiple times, most humans aren’t fat due to overeating and is a stereotype.
Mr Tinkles calls Butch fat in a negative way to get a rise out of him, despite butch being a normal size for a dog of his breed.
