Although not shown (kittens head is in the cup) and you just hear the kitten gag/burp.. The moment shortly after that where the person drinks from the cup and gags himself made me triggered (he literally drank cat V*)...

To add to the other comment (so also spoilers), the spider scene happens around 1 hour into the film, when Gadget and his evil clone are about to fall off a bridge, and he gets a phone call.
There's also a brief close up of the spider in a pod earlier in the film, when the evil Gadget first wakes up
