No dogs in this…however, the deceased animal body shown looked like a dog at first. I thought it was a large wire haired dog. It wasn’t.

Not a pet, exactly, but a farm animal (alpaca). The owner had named the alpacas though so there was some level of attachment.

This is a mystery show, so there are characters who lurk, follow, foot/car chase each other. There are photo stalker walls, red string walls, and video stalk each other. Storyline revolves extensively around blackmail.

There is shown physical violence from men to women by multiple male characters. One woman is hyper vigilant and terrified of her husband. One verbally descriptive scene, very intense, occurs in the holding cell with two adult male characters.

There's lots of lying and secret-keeping in this show, but that's not what gaslighting means. There is no actual gaslighting.

Multiple episodes show the bloody headless body and very bloody decapitated head of the alpaca..

Episodes 1,2,3,6 & 7 all show either the actual body / head and/ or flashbacks of the live alpaca and then the decapitated head being held up covered in blood.

There is a cat in this, but it is cuddled and loved by the owners. Never shown in any danger, despite a gun being fired multiple times in the apartment. Cat is only briefly left unattended at the end.

I chose no, but this may draw mixed results because one character injured their leg and is seen limping months after the event. Another character is shot in the leg, and is immobilized. Blood shown, but no bone parts.

Gun violence for the sake of causing pain, also linked to domestic violence (specific male character does this with female characters). One should also know that this whole show is a moralistic tale surrounding secrets and lies. Almost all characters in this are emotionally tortured in some way, by events and decisions made.

I say yes because one of the mental illnesses portrayed is Munchausen's by proxy, which means a mother intentionally makes her child sick, which I see as a violent act. Other acts of violence in the show aren't related to specific mental illnesses, though.

The main character is lead to believe that someone committed suicide but it’s not totally believed and later proven to be untrue. However, there is a scene where we see what the main character is imagining, so you do see someone jump off a bridge to commit suicide.

Someone fakes a pregnancy and fakes a miscarriage. There is a scene of the woman on the floor crying and telling her husband that she lost the baby, but in the first episode (or in the trailer for the show) you learn she is lying.
