Chon Wang, a clumsy imperial guard trails Princess Pei Pei when she is kidnapped from the Forbidden City and transported to America. Wang follows her captors to Nevada, where he teams up with an unlikely partner, outcast outlaw Roy O'Bannon, and tries to spring the princess from her imprisonment.

I don’t know if abused is the right word. There are lots of horses, some of them fall or are knocked over. One in particular is made to do some specific and impressive tricks which makes me concerned about the horse’s welfare on set.

Chon gets stoned. A woman takes advantage of him off-screen. In the next scene, he wakes up next to her. The movie plays this for a joke, for as Chon opens the front of the tent, a bunch of people clap because he got some. Not taken seriously.

The two main characters are almost hanged but are rescued/escape at the very last second. One of the villains is hanged in the church bell tower and is seen struggling and kicking (not a sympathetic character whatsoever but I still didn’t like this part)
